Using a SamsungTSL3099 and a JVC XV-95GD I have watched only two movies fullscreen that were not letterboxed, superbit Dracula and Final Fantasy. I have adjusted the monitor type to no avail and am wondering if there is a problem with the JVC correctly flagging anamorphic DVD's.

I also have a Panny DVD-A7 that shows fullscreen more often than not but was replaced by the JVC for the progressive scan and changer capability. Should I use the Panny and by an Iscan for 3:2 pulldown or wait and get a panny changer with progressive scan.

I have a XV-75GD (same thing, but single disk) and I've got a TSL3295HF. I haven't had any problems at all. The DVD player does do 3:2 pulldown for anamorphic... It may be different with a WS set though
