I have a concern with this dvd player.I use it with a 28inch RCA tv.The dvd player has a zoom in/out feature and when watching widescreen dvd's i notice that when i pause the movie and zoom out i'm missing some of the picture on both the left and right sides. This is a problem on all ratios, even 4:3 wich will have part of the picture missing all the way around. So my question is,is it the DVD player cropping the picture or is it my tv?I'm going to be purchasing a LCOS projector and hope that i can use this player and not have to buy a new one.Any input from someone knowlegable in this area would be greatly appreciated.:)

I think this has more to do with the TV's overscan than the player's cropping out pixels. An average TV has anywhere from 5%-10% of overscan on its sides. So you'll lose all that infomation when you play back your DVD (or TV broadcast, VCR, etc.)
