K-World USB ATSC Tuner Box

Has anyone tried this box out? I would be nice to have an external HDTV box.

If so, I have the following questions

1. How is the quality?

2. Any dropouts or pauses in the playback or record?

3. What type of files are recorded(ts files?)? Can they be imported and converted so that a HD WMV or HD XVID DVD can be created?

4. Is this better or worse that an internal board?

Haven't tried any of KWORLD's stuff, but KWORLD's PCI HDTV card gets fairly iffy reviews on Newegg (3 stars after 36 reviews).


VBOX and DVICO also have USB devices for HDTV that should be considered as well, if that is what you are after.
