Recently purchased a new 52 inch Bravia W4100 TV- HDMI input from my direcTV receiver to the TV, and standard RCA cables from the direcTV receiver to an old sony receiver (does not have optical input, that's how old it is)

Anyway, the problem is that the sound does not come close at ALL to lining up with the picture. The delay actually changes if you choose different cinemotion and motion enhancer settings. At first I thought it was the old receiver, but then I noticed that the sound on the TV itself was off as well. Is there anyway to somehow fix the timing with the video and sound? What could cause this problem?

Of note, using the same HDMI cable and audio cables I had NO trouble whatsoever with the older Panasonic 1080i LCD that we had. Also, this problem exists both on the PS3 and the direcTV which are HDMI hookups....the XBox 360 is on component cables and doesn't seem to have this problem, leading me to believe it's the HDMI cables somehow? Why would the problem all of a sudden come up with a new TV tho?

Well I blamed the TV because the problem only started when the new TV was introduced. When you have a problem you narrow down the variables and attempt to find the causation- that was the 1 new variable. I wasn't bashing the TV, I like it a lot- I was simply inquiring as to whether or not there was some sort of fix that could happen IN the TV considering when I use the onboard sound it still doesn't sync up.
