has anyone seen these two sets side by side? i was just about ready to buy the Z, but then then saw the EX is is only 400 more and is an edge lit LED. pros and cons of both? any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Seems to me that edge-lit is more about style (slimness) than performance. To the best of my knowledge no edge-lit has equaled the best back-lit models.
