Is the W the best model besides the XBRs ? The XBR9 had a bad review recently but every time I see the XBR8 I hope we can see a 65" with that kind of picture. I went to a Sonystyle store today and they told me there is a 46XBR10 coming as well.

I agree. We no longer have a quality driven market in USA. It's just price driven and they know Samsung and Panasonic will be also offering 65" flat screen soon, very agressively priced .

That is my wishful thinking bro! Imho, sony will have a tough sell competition against samsung and sharp, possibly LG with LED big screens, skinny with all gadgetry built in. If they want my money they have to play nice lol.

btw check, 46 inch LED LG gotten itself a rave review @cnet, 55 inch could be had around $2200-$2300, and pretty soon, costco might jump in around Christmas season. We will have to see how it goes! Again, I am not throwing my 5 quids at it

The 65" Samsung is priced at 6K and Sony usually is more expensive.

I'm not going to buy another Samsung. The B650 55" I have is decent; but all the panels on this particular size is all Chi Mei. When you buy a Samsung product, you expect a Samsung panel. Im going to stick with Sony or some other brand, Samsung's quality control is outrageous.
