No, LCoS rear projection TVs are not sensitive to magnets to the same degree as CRTs.

KDS-50A2000 and Speakers Worries
Hi I just bought a KDS-50A2000 (wont be here for another month though ... waiting for salamander furniture 
).
My question is ... Do i need to be worried about my old Boston Acoustics A60 speakers being to close to the set ? Will I have the same problem as the tube sets ... the speakers are not shielded.
Thanks ... hoping I dont have to give up my surround for htis set =).
