Hi, So my picture is very dark now and I'm guessing it is just from being the original bulb. I want to order a replacement but I'm confused at what the best bulb or lamp is for ordering.


Also, do I buy it with a housing or not? I plan on swapping it out myself.


So many links out there. How do I know I'm buying from a good vendor that isn't pushing some low quality generic version?

1. I bought mine on amazon from one of their merchants.


2. Look at this thread. Next to last post I believe the guy is giving away to bulbs.


It is the xl-5200 by phillips

You don't need the housing, just the bulb. Takes a second to unscrew the housing and change it out.


The screen will be much brighter after you replace it.


Think I paid about 95.00 from amazon just for the bulb
