keep it square or not?

I have been reading about the sizes and shapes fro theater room I enclosed my garage its approximate 22.8 X 21.8 8.5 ceiling height we have been going round and round on rather or not to keep it square or put up wall to make rectangle. I need some help and advice on what should I do.

p.s. my seating will be 2 rows with 3 seats

Klipsch RF-62 RS-52 RC-52 rsw 12

60†TV (not sure which1) no projector (I have no clue about them)

Your room isn't perfectly square which is good/better for acoustics. Most theaters are rectangular but you have plenty of space and could do some cool things. I'd for sure want some sort of A/V closet.
There is an excel based room calculator on Terry's site tmlaboratories.com (scroll down to free goodies). I didn't drop your dimensions in there, but I am guessing it will have some mode issues.


EDIT - if you are doing two rows of seating, I'd strongly consider a PJ. Spend a little time here, and you can learn the basics. Don't rush into a $$$ decision. Resale on tv's isn't very good.

Good advise. Find inspiration, set goals, and most important have fun.
