What's the best way to keep my cable box in my A/V closet w/ Cat5e and RG6 coax available where the TV is going?


I know I saw a single Cat5e to HDMI converter ... And I was going to get an RF remote setup.


Any ideas?

There are HDBaseT single-cat5 HDMI solutions with IR built in. But if you're going RF remote anyway, there are cheaper single-cable extenders. All of them, though, are more expensive than the dual-cable solutions.


Hopefully the HDBaseT chip will become more available and at a lower price point...
