Kenwood Apm KM-Z1

I had purchased one off Ebay. I did not like the amp very much.


I have a Kenwood Sovereign VR-5090. THe 5090 just sounded overall better. BASS and Mid BASS were very lacking in the KM-z1.

Any comparison or thoughts about this amp vs Denon POA-8300, other than the Denon driving less channels?

I also had a bad experience with the Kenwood. I owned it for a few days, then returned. It is probably the worst amp I have ever owned. I bought it at the time because I though THX was cool.


The Denon amps would be much better, but haven't had much personal experience with them. I have heard them sound good in a few installations.
