I'm planning on buying a new receiver and I have narrowed it down to 2 receivers, a Denon AVR-1802 or a Kenwood VR-507.
I need a receiver with at least 2 optical digital inputs and at least one coaxial digital input. It has to have both DTS and Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic II is a huge plus. It also has to have S-Video Inputs.
I'm in favor of the Kenwood VR-507 right now, which is quite a bit cheaper compared to the Denon AVR-1802, and has alot of the features I listed above.
I don't want to spend more than $500 (excluding the shipping and handling). If anyone knows of a receiver that is better than these two please let me know.
I am mostly a DVD movie watcher and also use my receiver for Playstation 2 Gaming and Television.
