Kinda funny...

... how Terminator and T2 have been released on BluRay, but not T3: ROTM. Don't get me wrong, the first two were superior movies by a good margin (IMHO), but usually studios love to bring out the latest sfx cash cow before trying to double dip on an old favorite. Witness, for example, X-Men 3 being released before its previous chapters.

Again, I'm not complaining, I just find it odd that the better movies won out over the better eye candy.

WB can never release T3 on Blu-ray as far as I'm concerned.

T3 wasn't that bad, Dan...it was just not superior to T1 or T2.

Then again, I liked AvP....go figure.

I'm going to imagine that the logic doesn't flow there, since the people distributing Terminator and T2 aren't the same people distributing T3. So there's no real marketing logic to the release pattern of 3 versus the first two.

Exactly.

As a side note, Warner screwed-up the HD DVD release by only giving it a meager 640 kbps DD+ audio encode. In my opinion, lossless or uncompressed is the only way to properly deliver this movie's soundtrack on an HD format. It doesn't sound bad as it is, but I can't help but wonder how much better it could sound.
