Hi all,

I would like to slowly start into seperates by first buying an amp,a used Outlaw 750, 5 x165 and useing my Integra DTR-6, 5x85 as a pre-pro. No problem, right? It does have pre-outs.

My only concerns are my speakers are very efficent and I won't hear much of a difference from just useing my Integra. My speakers are Klipsch Forte's mains, C-7 center, RS-3 surrounds and SVS 16-46 sub used with a seperate 250 watt amp. Room size is 15x26x7.

I hope by going with the Outlaw, the sound for my h.t. would be more dynamic. I have all to many times my wife ask to have the center channel turned up so she could hear the dialog and yes, the system has been calibrated with SPL meter, Avia ect.. Sometimes, I feel the mids. are a "little thin" also. As of now, we listen to 90% movies, 10% music.

Am I expecting to much by useing a seperate amp with this set up? Your thoughts are appreciated...

Thanks, Colin
