Hello, I am putting together a 5.1 Klipsch set up and I'm looking for a center speaker to accompany my F-3s as fronts and RS-3 as rear.

What would you recommend for a center - now I have a choice of picking up either C-2 or RC-3 for about the same $$$.

Thanks for advice.

The C-2 is the recommended center for your mains. Also, the ref stuff uses a titanium tweeter and the synergy uses aluminum, so timbre matching is kinda out of the window if you go with the ref center.

Wow, tough decisions... If I had the choice between a 10 lbs Synergy center versus a 30 lbs Reference center for the same price, I would be awfully tempted to go Ref! Instead of swapping out the RS-3 for Synergy, you could consider an eventual upgrade of your mains to match the new center.

I'm the wrong person to ask!
