KLIPSCH F2 VS ENERGY RC-50 Tower Speakers

Hey Guys,

The debate goes one once again!!

I recently bought an Pioneer Elite VSX-84TXSi receiver and finally got around to buying some speakers... but before even having received them (got them shipped) I am having some buyers remorse.

I ordered a set of Klipsch synergy F2 towers, and got them from a great deal might I add ($199 each at BestBuy). However I am rethinking the whole Klipsch thing after reading soo many mixed reviews.

I am debating between Energy RC-50 towers and the Klipsch.

I'm trying to run 2 tower speakers alongside my plasma TV, so I am mainly trying to get sound for TV and Movies. I may add a center if need be... and of course a sub if I need the bass.

The funny thing is the reviews all say "you either love or hate klipsch" but noone seems to love them??

Any advice?

I love Kilpsch. I've been using their speakers for years and I've hardly had issues with them. They sound great.

At first the cones were a bit high on the hardwood floors. After a month use it wasn't so high. I also got an area rug that helped alot. Wife also noticed the difference. If you are wondering if it's too high for you, you should test them out before hand. I have them on bi-wire and by-amp. I didnt noticed anything different. Not sure about zone 2 set ups.
