i havent had a chance to demo this speaker set-up so i was wondering what current klipsch owners thought of it before i go ahead and place my order. everything here will be brand new ordered direct from klipsch, my room is 10'10"x15'. i have 4-5 videogame systems i need to connect, a dvd player, the dlink media link, maybe a cd player, a tv player, maybe in the future a dvr. i'm gunna get a pelican system selector for the video game systems.

this is the speaker set-up i am going to go with:

Floorstanding: Klipsch F2 - $130.00

Center: Klipsch C3 - $132.00

Bookshelf: Klipsch S3 - $180.00

Sub: Klipsch Sub12 - $200.00

for the reciever im probably going to go with the pioneer 1015tx but im not sure yet or a denon. but i was wondering how everyone thought these would sound. it willl be primarily for movies but also alot of music and a heavy dose of gaming as well.

That should give you some pretty good sound for the games! Of all the equipment, the sub is probably the weakest link. But then again, I have a Klipsch 2.1 Promedia systems connected to my PC and the sound is surprisingly good.

Where are you getting the F2's from for $130? I haven't seen them for less than $300. Are they the F2's or the SF2"s? I am in the same situation as you, I am also going to build a system with Klipsch speakers.

The proposed setup is quite good IMO. The newer subs are very good and for the stated price cannot be beat.

I took a friend to BB a year or so ago to listen to all of their HT setups; he is more of a computer and car guy, and while he has liked my system when hearing it, he could not remember what kind of speakers I had.

To let his ears judge for themselves; after hearing over half of the (underwhelming) other setups, we got around to the Klipsch (I think it was only a Synergy) system; after only a couple of seconds' listening, he nodded and said "Ah, yes... there we go!"

The immediacy and sonic clarity of the Klipsch system blew all the others away, and while it did not come close to my own (mostly Heritage, with very good McCormack amps), I could imagine owning one of the Klipsch systems that we heard, and it would without a doubt be the only system of the ones that were displayed that I would purchase.

Yes, you can do better than a Klipsch sub; SVS and Hsu are both very well received by Klipsch owners... the SVS PB10-ISD probably offers the best bang for your money of anything in it's price range, and would go well with the rest of the Klipsch you are looking at.

Keep us posted!

Dude, you are getting an awesome deal. I think this would be the best way to go for the $. I think Klipsch is a good system to own and the sub can always be upgraded later. You probably won't be able to beat the price if you were to go anywhere else. You are most fortunate.
