What country are you located in?

You would likely be better off skipping the Klipsch sub anyway. It's no that good. I think your dealer did you a favor actually.

Some of the guys on the Klipsch forum really like the SW 115. I would rate it much higher than most Klipsch sub. Either way, the sub does not need to match the speakers.:)

I saw the same thing. I was getting ready to buy a SW-115, and saw it was discontinued as well. Some vendors sell it, but you can no longer buy it on Crutchfield. I think they're also discontinuing the SW-110 & SW-112. From what I hear though, they'll be replaced by new versions. I don't have a lot of details on what the differences will be though.

I was just getting ready to buy one too from avscience for dedicated theatre room. Any recommendations for a sub $600 in a room 15x20 with bowers and Wilkins speakers, two 685 fronts, htm62 center, ccm362 rears and sides?

Oh that's bad news! haha just bought them and they are already getting replaced.

And about the sub I live in Guatemala so it's pretty hard to get anything else here. I would love to have an SVS sub but nobody sells it here and it's to expensive to import it (around 80lb +).

Thanks guys!

PD: any links to the revamp you guys are mentioning on the klipsch line?

Outlaw Audio Plus and EX models are on sale with shipping for $499 and $599 respectively.

Rythmik LVR12 at $599.

SVS PB1000 at $499

All IMO are better overall subs than the SW115.

thank you! So of those 4 how would you rank them? Again this is for a 15x20 dedicated room. If you think its worth it to get one of the $599 models you listed over the $499 I'm good with that. But if you think I am splitting hairs than I'll go less.

The Outlaw EX model is for all practical purposes the same as the HSU VTFMK3-4 and will have the most output and dig the deepest and if going with just one sub would be the clear choice.

But a pair of the Outlaw Plus models would trump a single EX and at $499 each are a heck of deal. This and the Rythmik would be close in output and extension from what I gather.

The Rythmik has a servo controlled driver and again just based on user comments would most likely sound better. More detail and subtlety with less distortion.

The SVS PB1000 digs about as deep as the Plus and Rythmik but gives up some output over 30hz compared to the rest. It's still a good deal, has a great warranty and a risk free 45 day in home trial. A pair are $949 delivered.

Here's the link on the klipsch website, but there's still info missing on some models.

So far they've only introduced the R-10SW & R-12SW, which is their new introductory Reference line, and not as good as the old SW-112/115 stuff from the looks of it. I hear they will be releasing more subwoofers shortly, which should really replace the old ones, and hopefully improve upon them.
