If you look for some of the other posts you will see that many movies have been 5.1 for the last couple few months.

Knockaround Guys in 5.1
Just started watching Knockaround Guys on DirecTV PPV. Sound is 5.1, so DTV may finally be getting the picture in this regard. Thus far, picture quality is outstanding with very solid, deep blacks and silky smooth picture. No evidence of significant video noise to this point.
Movie is not being shown OAR, though. This movie is a super35 2.35:1 Theatrical presentation. It is being shown 1.78:1 on DirecTV. Given the super35 filming, I presume this is an open matte presentation.
Although I am all for OAR, and hope it wins out in the end, I do not get THAT upset when watching an open matte super35 presentation. Now Panavision on the other hand..... I just cannot accept that (or watch it for that matter!)
