Hi everyone,
just wanted to ask the experts and people using a succesful settings on the same system i have,
I am trying to use an All In Wonder Radeon with my Sony KP46WT500 through the dvi input. I'm using powerstrips to customize couple of settings and got few of them to actually work in my system. The most clean and crsip video quality i got were from the following PS settings;
=============================================
PowerStrip timing parameters:
960x540=960,56,32,56,540,2,6,15,37237,2304
Generic timing details for 960x540:
HFP=56 HSW=32 HBP=56 kHz=34 VFP=2 VSW=6 VBP=15 Hz=60
Linux modeline parameters:
"960x540" 37.237 960 1016 1048 1104 540 542 548 563 +hsync +vsync
==============================================
But the video is cropped on all side by a little bit specially on top and bottom of the screen. I've also got the following settings to get a perfect size without any overscan and underscan, but the picture is very much blury and completely unsuitable to watch.
==============================================
PowerStrip timing parameters:
1184x666=1184,136,56,280,666,31,6,47,72675,2304
Generic timing details for 1184x666:
HFP=136 HSW=56 HBP=280 kHz=44 VFP=31 VSW=6 VBP=47 Hz=59
Linux modeline parameters:
"1184x666" 72.675 1184 1320 1376 1656 666 697 703 750 +hsync +vsync
====================================================
So my question: Is there any settings or tweak that i can use to get the second settings to work with an acceptable picture quality?
Any comments and advice on alternatives settings will be appreciated as well.
Thank You Guys.
