Hi everybody!

I purchased a Hercules Prophet 4500 with the Kyro II chipset to accomodate a 1366x768 display on my Sanyo 60HT... with little success so far... but I must say that the DScaler overlay video quality has improved dramatically over the Radeon 64MB DDR that I had in there. The colors are much smoother. I can use the temporal noise filter with few gradient artifacts and there are no '5-second' screen freezes anymore.

In addition, the 1360x768 resolution is much smoother on the KyroII than on the Radeon DDR. Much less ringing in the picture.

I'm sure the Radeon will run circles around it in 3D stuff, but for my application, it simply works better.

It's a 64MB SDRAM card with the Kyro II chipset for $100.

I don't do DVD on my PC, so I can't and won't comment there.

Just thought I'd share my observations.
