Hi Folks,

After much consternation I've decided to go with the Panny FP. I've seen both and didn't think the HS10's extra resolution and HDCP DVI was worth the large increase in price. Also, the HS10 underperforms in blacks and color. Anyway, they are both great machines. I purchased the Bravo DVD player with the hopes of using it with the Panny. This is apparently not a great match so my question is do I have to buy a new progressive scan DVD player (current DVD player not progressive scan) or can I just let the Panny's deinterlacer do it's thing? Thanks for the feedback!!

From my reading the Bravo should only be considered for the DVI output. It (Bravo DVI) is producing above average images. On the other hand the reviews seem to be unanimous in saying the component output is below average. Given the poor component output you would be much better off with several other players if your not using the DVI of the Bravo.
