Been a while since I posted on this forum (very busy), but I still use my 300u quit often. What I was wondering, was I remember seeing in the past that some 300u owners complained of the lamp dimming after only a few hundred hours of use. Is this a wide spread problem, or did it only happen to a unfortunate few?

It has happened to me at 130 hours. My unit is still at the repair shop. Apperantly, it is a problem with the lamp assembly, and they are still waiting on shipment of the part/s from Panasonic...

I have put 370 hours on the bulb of my three-month-old PT-L200U, with no apparent dimming (knock on wood).

180 hrs on my l300u, still going strong, don't notice any dimming yet.
