Lamp Re-set on Sony VPLVW12HT

Does anyone know the procedure to reset the lamp timer on this projector?

Pretty sure it is the same as was on my old VW-10HT which was as far as I can remember:







I htink I remember that you need to enter these on the projector itself, but I may be wrong about that as the remote has all those buttons.

That's correct, at least for the 10HT, the key sequence must be entered on the projector, not the remote. Also, the projector must be in standby mode (i.e. lamp is off).

That is also how its done on the 11ht (so, probably on 12ht as well). If it make you feel any better, I figured it out last week (after owning if for 2 years).
