Hi everybody
I connected my laptop to home audio system trying got sound from the audio system while keeping the picture on the laptop ( Don't ask me why i don't watch the picture on a TV). I used a S-video cable to connect them. But I wasn't able to get the sound come out from the audio system. Am I doing something impossible to achieve? I use Onkyo 797 av receiver and I connected it to 2 laptops from 2 different companies. I put the S-video into Video 1 input. Well, I tried all other video inputs too as well as DVD and CD inputs to see if any of these work. No luck. Your comment appreciated.
