Laptop+Audio Technica m50x+DAC ???

Hi all,

I dont know if this is the right department to post this question however i like to listen to music with my ATH m50X from my laptop.

Will it make a big difference if i buy a reasonable priced DAC between my laptop and headphones?

If yes, what are your suggestions for a up to 100$

For up to 100$ you almost have no choice. Even something simple and decent like Audioquest Dragonfly v1.2 costs around 150$.
Will it make a difference? You have to hear for yourself. From my experience even some integrated soundcards can sound fairly decent.

You will need a DAC/Amp since you will bypass the integrated sound card which contains both.
This could be a good choice for you.
