Hi all. You about sick of winter too?

Here's my question... I've got a new laptop coming with an ATI Radion graphics chip and an HDMI out port. I want to plug it into my TV with a 25' HDMI cable. I've searched and read the threads on longer cable links and know about Monoprice and all but I'm wondering - will a small laptop output a weaker signal that may give me grief with a long run cable?

Thanks in advance.

No way of knowing til you try it out really...

You may wanna check the Home Theater PC section though, see if there is anything useful there.

Probably what I'll do, with a splice to a flexible pigtail at the laptop so I can move it around easy. I was just wondering about the signal strength out of a laptop. I'll go cruise the the theater forum too.
