so i have an HTTP location where i store movies etc...

I can create a network drive (or share) on my computer on which i want to stream movies.. But if i have movies or any files that are larger than 40 MB or so will not play.. They flat out will not index on WMC... and on Jriver it just comes up with an error when i try to import them into the library?

what settings do i have to change so i can stream these movies? (i dont care which program to use) no XBMC though...

Sounds like problem is with your network. So you can stream files under 40MB in size? If so, what is your network ultilzation (cntrl>alt>delet) task manager, performance for a 35MB file? Are you doing this over a wireless connection?
