Twilight Zone Marathon on Decades and SyFy

SyFy: skipping frames on show, no skipping frames on commercials

Decades: stretched and PQ reduced, frames good (decades used to NOT do this)

F^ EM all, get the DVDs!

They all do this ON PURPOSE, dont give in!! Avoid them at all costs!

Nothing in a station's license requires that they no NOT edit programs, air in full screen, or even broadcast color or stereo. It's free OTA. We just accept what is offered and say 'thank you sir'. And it's much the same for cable or sat services.

Right, and they can waste power all they want with colorbars. No one cares about OTA.

Over-the-air is a growing audience once again. Large in Las Vegas and other markets. Your statement is not even closely true.

Yes OTA will increase as people cut the cord

then die when they find out stuff like Pluto does it all so much better. Keep smoking those cigars, or whatever they are smoking now days.

No ones going back to OTA after that if OTA programming is crapped up with terrible mostly medical commercials.

KINC 15.3 Stadium seem to be no more. The PSIP has been removed. Stadium viewers can still get their share of the diginet on KSNV 3.4. Too bad the same can't be done for the three simulcasts of Son Life.

So you need to pay for High Speed internet to get it.
Yes, but theres a lot more you can do with High Speed Internet. You can pay your bills, surf the web and communicate with people, like the ones here on this BBoaard. Its amazing what you can do with it. But if you are happy with your typewriter, more power to you.

Samsung Tv's hooked to BroadBand can seamlessly tune into the some Pluto channels, after 50.3 its all there and in the samsung EPG too. And puts Las Vegas OTA to shame.

I will check it out on my phone. I have used Netflix on my phone works fine until my speed is cut back when I exceed my data plan. I pay bills and do emails, shop and watch the occasional Netflix movie by tethering my phone I don't spend money on free tv.

Happy with your typewriter ? I guess in your way you were trying to insult someone. WOW, I don't defend spectrum I can only say I doubt spectrum needs me too, nor expects it. I don't attack and industry either. I don't know what your intent is if you like pluto good for you. I just bought a friend who lost her job due to the plandemic a 40 inch TV from Fry's electronics it was $129 and antenna for $11 dollars she gets 80 channel of free TV . We picked up a Roku box for $29.
I showed her how to tether her phone to her Roku to watch free movies. That's a lot of free entertainment for under $180 bucks. The TV is an intelligent Silo TV not a smart samsung which cost over $100 bucks more.

I guess I am a fan of the people who use our public airways to provide us with free news , emergency info and yes entertainment. Thanks you, to all the TV and radio stations that I don't pay. In many countries you have to buy a license to watch Over the air TV and some of that money goes to the TV stations. Next time your child is taken watch Pluto for an amber alert. Next time their is a shooting on the strip watch Pluto to let you know what area's to avoid.

K36NE the 43 point something sub-channels, have evolved into yet another channel of poorly maintained services. For the past several days, programming has been laregly missing from all of their subs. A few minutes here and ther, but mostly missing while the transmitter shoots blank after blank of blankety blank screen. This is truly unprofessional and not what the FCC wants or even requires of a local station. Not even from a overly protected LPTV station.

LPTV operators need to step up and operate their stations in the same fashion as a so-called full powered station.

I have to see much of the promised help from a local operator assis KPVT-2 and KHMP-18 resolve their plenty of technical issues. How can a company operate a station for months without a trace of audio. The network in question was made aware of this a long time ago, but the messages to the station must have gone unnoticed. Audio levelas are all over the scale on the other sub-channels of 2 and 18, when we're lucky enough to find them in operation. Just how much does 18.8 702TV pay KHMP-18 to carry theire trash overly repeated programming fare? It's not entertainment, infomercials, or much of anything. It's simply junk clogging up a sub-channel.

There are many diginets that want access to Las Vegas viewers. Not all are worth our time, but networks such as Circle should be airing here in out Valley. First Nations should be seen here. All New Net should be seen. A weather channel should be aired in Vegas.

Enough with the useless colorbars and blank screens.

The FCC has allowed LPTV to be the new amateurtv. The only requirement is to not interfere with any other vhf, uhf broadcasts and communications, say the forbidden four letter words, show porn, extreme violence or make death threats to anyone. Obviously these stations are there for a tax write off and not to make money. Hope to sell to new owners for ATSC 3 uses like wireless cable tv, mobile tv/data or extra in the future.

I can't agree with your post. There are many LPTV stations that are doing it all correctly, and serving viewers with a good mix of programming. I remember well that I was very impressed when I first discovered KTUD-25 20 years ago. I look at KGNG-26 as a good role model for other LPTV operators. KPVM-25 Pahrump is another example of what LPTV should be. Several other Vegas LPTV operators are also doing a good job. It's just that we see and remember that bad operators, KPVT-2, KHMP-18, and K36NE-43.
