All,
We're at the last stages of our home design and I've finally gotten around to critically evaluating the theater room design. My intent is to throw a 110"+ image on the wall opposite the door. My hope was to manage to get two viewing rows into the room. Risers aren't a good option since entry is from the back. At this point we can still drop the front instead of putting a riser in the back. We can do this by having a drop in the foundation. This would probably start about 4-5 feet off the back wall.
The other question I have is regarding the front screen. I'm trying to decide between transparent and wall mounted to the sides. If transparent, how much depth am I going to lose from the false wall?
Certainly open to any and all suggestions. Projector is likely to be the Mitsubishi HC4000.
Thanks for any input.
