Latest InFocus 7205 Firmware Update

Would anyone be kind enough to PM me and offer to email me a copy the latest IF 7205 Firmware file?


I have a Toshiba MT800 clone of the IF 7205, but, Toshiba does not have the update.

I have downloaded a new firmware 2.2 or 2.3 for 7205 from the infocus website and it's very simple just follow the instructions to download.

I cannot do that as my Toshiba MT800, while a complete clone of the 7205, does not have an Infocus serial number which is required to "register" at the Infocus site to get the download.

I too only saw a v2.2 on IF's site.


Larry, will you please email me a copy?

Toshiba Canada has the 2.2 update, I have e-mailed them about it, The only problem is that they want to do the install of the firmware. I think I will wait until my MT-800 has to go for service and get the update then.

The U.S. people do not have it, and, I would not want to remove my PJ fron the ceiling and send it in for firmware Ican install myself in place.

I have 9 pages of Firmware update on pdf adobe 6.0 I will send it to you via pm.

You also need a cable that is compatible to up load new firmware from PC to the projector. Again IF site will tell you what cable to buy, either you can purchase from IF for $39.00 or lot cheaper from computer store.

Check your Pm.

I installed the 2.2 firmware update on Sunday(Thanks Bryan):D I am waiting for a DVD player with an output of 480i to see if the firmware does indeed pass a 480i DVI signal. The update does change your synch threshold to 71 plus other improvements noted on the Infocus website.
