** Law & Order crack about HDTV **

Anyone notice on Law & Order this week Detective Green was talking to Jerry Orbach's character (Lennie Briscoe).


Green, "You have any idea how much a high definition television costs? 10 grand."

Briscoe, "Instead of high def, they should call it outrageously high def."


Negativity towards HDTV sure explains why NBC is in no rush to do Law & Order.


For anyone not familiar, you can get a damn good picture on a $2,400 Mitsubishi or other HDTV set in the same price range.
