The double wall shown on left and bottom is exterior brick.

At the back is a closet (top), sink (middle, open to room), toilet (bottom)

Both doors in and out of the room are solid exterior doors.

The North side of the plan is a garage wall, insulated.


The two laptops shown in the garage are probable locations for the Rack.


The 2 Squares are potential front speaker locations. The two rounds are rear speaker locations.


Nothing is set in stone, except the bloody fireplace.


Thoughts opinions, advice?

Is the garage insulated and climate controlled? I would have concern leaving HT equipment exposed to temperature extremes. Not to mention the humidity. I suppose you could protect the gear if you enclose/insulate them and have the racks pull out into the HT room.

Yeah the racks will be built into the main room. Basically it will be a mini closet accessed from garage side, but should be thermally sealed from the garage.
