hi everybody,

I own a LC-65SE94U, which I have had for a few years.

Mostly I love it! It's been pretty good to me, and it's a joy to look at.

In the last year I have noticed a problem with it.

Two or three times a day, the screen will blank/black for about ten seconds.

It seems as if the mainboard thinks the HDMI cable was pulled for a second, then re-plugged.

(the little purple box in the upper right showing the connection name appears at the end of the 10 second blank out)

I have a HP Z210 workstation plugged into with a DVI->HDMI cable.

I have seriously considered replacing the mainboard, but for all I know it won't fix the problem, it is certainly something to

try, but I thought I'd see if anyone else here could shed some light on the problem.

I'm not excited to spend $200 on a replacement mainboard, when I'm not sure it will fix the problem.

Thanks for your thoughts, Cameron
