i can get the emerson LC320EM1 on black friday from walmart for $200. i am on a budget, and the tv would go in my college dorm room, and use it primarly with my ps3

2500:1 contrast ratio

8ms respons time


the only thing im worried about is the contrast ratio... what do you guys think? here is a link:

As long as you are not expecting miracles I would say jump on it. I wouldn't expect it to have a long lifespan but for a college dorm and at that price it should be an ok set. If that is at the top end of your budget I don't know that you can find another tv in that size for that price.

i mean i just want something to display blurays and my ps3 semi good. ive scene it on a vizio vl32x, and that display is fine. is it comparable to that?

^ ya the 22" ones! i could get a vizio m class for about the same price used, or a samsung 1080p motor/tv combo. but those are both used (referbished) and only 26"...
