LCD Max Resolution

Hello there everyone.

I have a Sony LCD KLV-S32A10 with a max resolution on it of 1366x768.

I connected it to my PC via RGB (HD15) 15pin.

I also have a ati radeon x300 128mb.

Anyways now to my problem.

I set the resolution to 1024x768 and everything looks perfect and clear. Now when i set the resolution to anything higher such as 1280x768 which is what i want it looks terrible and all the resolutions beyond that as well. Does anybody know why 1024x768 works fine and anything higher dosent when the settings on lcd are higher?
