LCD or Sony 30XS955 with HTPC

I have built my first HTPC and combined it with a Philips 30PW9100D. My uses are PVR, DVD and MP3. The Philips is not a very good CRT so I am sending it back and am trying to figure out what to replace it with. While the Philips was OK for HD the MCE interface was just not good enough for me. If I get another CRT it would be the Sony 30XS955 so I am interested if anyone is using that set with MCE and what there thoughts are on how the MCE interface looks. If not I guess I will be looking for a LCD.
