LCD Rear Projection and PC

I am looking at some LCD RP Tv's. I have a few questions.


1: I have a Geforce 7900GT which can output a 1080i signal via DVI to HDMI. If I hook up my computer to the TV and output the signal accordingly will I get and type of lag issues?


2: When I go to play a game through the method mentioned above, say I play a game at 1024x768 on the new TV, will the image look like crap, or will it be ok?


3: I want to watch alot of AVI/MKV.OGM files on that tv via the above method. How will these look if the gfx card is outpiutting a 1080i/720p/etc. signal?
