I have borrowed an Infocus LP 250. It's an LCD XGA projector with 1300 lumens and 400:1 CR.

I am also borrowing an Infocus LP 560. This unit is a DLP XGA with about 2000 lumens and the same 400:1 CR.

The units are both demo units. I have them side by side and the LCD projector is creating greenish whites when seen next to the DLP. It is amazing between the two, when projecting the same image.

Maybe it's because this LCD is a few years old, and LCD technology a few years ago was still casting a green tint. What do you think?

Does the newer Panny and Sony have this same green tint with their HT pjs?

Would adding a 'magenta' filter help any?

My Panasonic PT-L200U has a very slight "green push" which was only noticeable when viewing black-and-white programming. Changing the color temperature from medium to warm helped eliminate it. Since I started using a ND2 filter and CC05M "magenta" filter, the green push is gone.

My Boxlight 1HD also has a green push. Very common for LCD.

I also used a magenta filter to cure the greens....
