I've been browsing at speakers and noticed that there seems to be a "shared" speaker between some online sellers. Emotiva (ERM-1), SVS (SCS-01), and Outlaw (The LCR) seem to selling the same speaker.

Are these the same speaker? Any comments?

Thanks,

John

No, I'm sure they're not the same ones though.

You know, every manufacturer has their own project and some are very similar to each other, thus the similarity.

The LCR pattern means that you can either use the very same spaker as Left, Center & Right channel. IMO, this is excellent, as you can have the exactly same speakers at front array ( a perfect situation though ).

Tell you what, I've just got an SCS-01 front array and couldn't be happier!

Absolutely not the same. The Outlaws were designed and are manufactured in Haverhill, Massachusetts, at the Snell factory. The Emos were designed by Vance Dickason. I'm not sure who designed the SVS, but I'm pretty sure they're not manufactured in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
