Has anyone here purchased these discs before? I found them at overstock.com. Fifty for 39.99 plus $1 shipping, I'm about ready for some more media and may give these a shot.

Never heard of them. Your paying 80 cents for 100. You can get name brand for that price or better by shopping around. Try NewEgg.com or supermediastore.com. Do you have a Best Buy, CompUSA, Office Max or Office Depot in your area? All have brand name media on sale from week to week. For example....Best Buy is selling Sony brand 50 spindle 4X for $30.00 this week on their web site.

According to dvdrhelp.com, Legacy discs have been found with as many as 5 different media ID's. Real crapshoot as to what you might wind up actually getting from batch-to-batch.

I agree you can do better with a little shopping. Even here in overpriced Canada, Wal-Mart has a sale this week of Maxell 25-spindles for $12.95 (CAN). That's 41 cents U.S. per disc.
