On my brother's ecp 3100 projector, the lens on the red tube needs to be replaced. Can I use any lens on it (as long as it says HD-6) even if it came from another tube (green, blue)? Thanks for your help.

you can not if the green one was filtered.

you can use a blue one because they are never filtered.

just look through the lens and if all appears green leave it. if all things watched through the lens are red or just normal colours then you can take it.

some sets of HD-6 have red and green filtered and some do not...

Thanks Roland. The replacement lens I have is not color filtered, so I guess they should be ok.
