Welllllll, I designed it! I had the contractor frame it, rock it, build the cabinets, lay the carpet, and install the fireplace.


I ran the wires, modified the Triad in-wall brackets so I could install them alone, ran the wires/cables, and mounted and hung the display

Except for lifting it into to place I did everything myself, well....my wife supervised the whole installation, to make sure I didn't do anything that wasn't to her liking

By the way since the picture the wires have been hidden for the most part, and the subwoofer has moved to other side. Speakers are JBL in wall for surround (living room). Advent outdoor and kitchen (stereo speakers)

All setups are very nice. However, aren't some of the plasmas hanged a little bit too high for viewing, particularly the ones above the fireplace and flat against the wall?

There's plenty of threads on height/fireplace/tilt/flat. It all comes down to personal preference.

Thats why that thermometer is there. So far it doesn't get over 95 unless the fireplace is on (which now that its spring it won't be). I'm keeping an eye on it. My receiver has a switched AC outlet on the back of it. If I see the heat getting high, I'll put a fan behind them.
