Letterman abuses HD and my stomach

I wish either of them were half as funny as Carson was. Neither of them can make you laugh so hard you cry. Not worth staying up for.

Personally, I think he isnt bad (prefer leno, or something else, depends whats on) but he shouldnt be in HD, need a filter or something on him and the band. I personally think Conan's great, but that = just me! (hd too!)

People will complain about anything.

letterman isn't bad... but jon stewart takes the cake. i hope he doesn't leave comedy central for a big network late night show... he couldn't get away with half the stuff he can on cable.

Yeah, he couldn't have a masturbating bear, or show a naked audience/host orgy, or... oh, nevermind.

I'm just thankful he didn't have anal warts instead.

The Late Show is officially in decline. What a horrible segment. Was there any point to showing that on television? The only positive I can think of was getting the models into nurse uniforms.

Daily Show and Conan are the only shows worth staying up for anymore IMO. I wish Comedy Central would go HD! Letterman's not that bad though, I think he does a decent job of pleasing people of all ages.

Only reason I watched letterman last night was for jim carrey. I thought that bit was ok with the removal of the stitches. It wasnt funny.

It is not officially Christmas until Darlene Love sings the Christmas song on Late Night each year. Usually Christmas Eve, probably on Friday this year. It's worth staying up for, even if you don't like Letterman.

If you don't like the David Letterman show, do yourself a favor and change the channel.


If you're still stuck on Johnny Carson, get over it, he isn't coming back from the grave

At least Lettermen can get HD movie clips they are showing, something Leno cant seem to do.

Letterman has slipped a little bit since the glory days on NBC, but he's also gotten older so a lot of the bits he used to do just wouldn't be as funny any more.


He's the best interviewer on TV right now, in my opinion. Leno really doesn't seem to know HOW to interview people. Carson was the master of the interview, but Letterman is following in his footsteps.
