RS in NorCal says the dq'd the analog and are only selling the digital for $50. Frys has an analog for $50.

So given that both analog and digital are available.

I would like to assume that the digitals are more accurate than the analogs... although typically it would totally depend upon the quality of the builtin microphone.

The analogs would introduce damping and hence would tend to be a little inaccurate.

So question is what should i go for?

Regarding accuracy I've read the opposite. But considering the digital is a lot easier to read and I couldn't get an analog at the time I went digital.

actually, from what i've heard, the analog one is easier to read than the digital one. i've never used to the digital one myself, the analog one seems to be the better one, which is why every HT specialist will recommend the analog one over the digital one...

i think the analog one was discontinued by RS, so if you can't find it, get the digital one. unless you can find a RS that still has the analog ones in stock...
