Lexicon MC-12 Refurbished Unit...Pros and Cons...


I have the opportunity to purchase a LEXICON MC-12 REFURBISHED UNIT(sealed box from factory).... Would like to hear from anyone who has purchased or has knowledge of anyone who purchased a similar unit.

While I have not purchased refurbed Lex gear, I have bought a number of other similar pieces, both high-end and mass-market, without any problems. One school of thought is that the extra certification involved in the refurbishing process gives you some additional protection against QC issues. If the savings is significant (20% or more), I would go for it.


Does if come with a full Mfr warranty (same as a new piece)?
