Thinking of getting the LG42LH90. I hear that the set is great but I have also heard that the LG customer support is really bad. If I get an extended warrantee will I still have to worry about support and fixits or should I get a Samsung or Sony?

The LH90 is a great series for LED/LCD. I would recommend an extended warranty however just on principle. People are in different camps about this but there are issues floating around with all of the manufacturers, some only revealed after significant time lapse.
