LG 42PX5d or Sony 40" Bravia for bedroom

I like the idea of either one of these and was wondering if anyone has used one in a bedroom. We will be watching mostly prime time TV in HD as well as some accasional SD channels.


I can buy the LG for about $300 less and it comes with the ability to read flash cards.

I installed a 40"XBR1 on my bedroom wall yesterday... It looks awesome... on or off. Full blown platinum package with Comcast, DVD's over HDMI through a Sony DVP-NS90V..
