Dell Home is offering the PB560B for $399, and a $200 gift card will be sent through email after purchase.
If you sign up for "Dell Advantage," you get 5% Dell credit, and ShopDiscover is offering 10% cashback right now, so approximately $400 - $200 gift card - $40 Discover cashback - $20 Dell coupon + $35 tax = $175 NET FOR A 50" PLASMA. Sounds good to me! (Tax varies, of course).
Enjoy!

But really, 720p and 1080p on a 50" are indistinguishable from 10' away.
720p vs 1080p? Only if you need glasses or your TV input (e.g. cable) is worthless. For a true 1080p blu-ray, you'll see the difference right away. Again, no thanks and not worth any money today in my opinion.

I agree and thanks for posting a super deal !! I would jump on that deal, but I already have a 50" 720P plasma in the living room. I also have 50" 1080p LED in another room and the 720p looks just as good as the 1080p whilst playing Blu Ray or HD programing. :D

I have a similar problem; I bought a 50" Samsung PN51F4500 plasma a month ago. I'm thinking about buying this and flipping a profit on CL.

Not if your eyes are 10' away from the screen. It's impossible to tell the difference.

So the $200 eGift has to be spent with Dell (like it’s basically a credit), am I reading the promo details correctly?

You can probably resell the egift card for at least half the face value, probably a lot more.

Do a search for "sell dell egift card" - never done it myself, but I hear about people buying them on a regular basis.
