Just got this TV today (UK)

what is the Network for, i have set it up and all is connected and tested.

But what is it for, i can not see anything in the menu at all.

is it to access internet some how or connect to other pc's on home network,

if so how do i do this

Click on "Features" then read the section about "Freeview HD".

It mentions free view but still cant see what the internet is all about, i heard it was for facebook youtube etc built in

Unfortunately I'm not familiar with your specific model (especially being from the States). However, I know some of the models support said features. From what I can read in the owners manual it seems that the only other thing it could be for would be the firmware updates. I don't see any mention of accessing Internet apps and I don't see any such button on the remote (according to the owner's manual).


And FYI: I just did some more reading on exactly what Freeview is and feel a little silly having posted my original reply. Haha. I didn't realize that Freeview wasn't Internet-related. Call me your typically ignorant American. Haha.

it's called NetCast here in the states, netflixk vudu mlbnetwork picasa, uh something else. IF you have subscriptions to those services you can use them right through the tv. No internet browser or anything.
